Catching up!

I’ve not posted much recently, so thought I would do a few catch up posts.
Since New Year my diary has been packed with lots of fun things and a lot of work! The fun things first…

On the 22 January we went to see Sarah Millican live in Leeds – my Christmas present. She was fabulous! Nothing extravagant just her, her humour and her generosity. Money isn’t waisted on big sets, all she needs is her chair and table.

She collects money for charity at the end of the gig, so anything left warty long in our pockets went in the collection buckets.

She also gave us a gift – you could take a free badge home.

On the 7th March we headed to Manchester with friends to see Adele. Slightly more extravagance but what an amazing performance – an amazing voice – down to earth and funny.

It was a fabulous evening watching someone use their gifts to great effect. A popular artist who right from the start was willing talk to individuals in the crowd – who noticed individuals in the crowd one of whom was invited on stage as it was her birthday. She left us wanting more…

At the end loads of little pieces of paper were released from the ceiling. I figured because of where we were sat they wouldn’t come near us. I was right, until I turned around to get my coat and one of the little pieces of paper was lying on the collar.

Each one had something written on them, wether a lyric from a song or one like this… It was a lovely touch.
