Faith and Politics

Yesterday we went and made our mark.

Even Cagney came as well!

I woke up this morning to see many comments on Social Media of disappointment of the way the election result was headed.

Regardless of what you think about those in power, if you have voted you have made your voice heard. If you have not voted, well you had your chance.

Every government will make their mark, through their failures and their positive steps forward in making this country a better place for all people.

The comment I would make about the outcome of this and every election is the Christian church is still very much needed in this country. We have made a difference to people’s lives, and I hope we will continue to do so as we stand up against the injustices in this country and around the world.

I pray that people of all faiths and non, who strive for a better life for all people be a voice for those who governments need to take notice of. To tackle issues of social injustice within our society.

Now is the time to make our collective voices heard about what is important in our society. Working together, we can make it known to those who will have the ability to make the changes that will affect the lives of people around this country for the better.

Also Pray for those who govern this country that they will be willing and open to listening to what the people of this country think is important.
