New beginnings…

The last month has been a rather busy one…

home books

We packed up our belongings and moved to our new home…

It was good to be reacquainted with many of the things we had forgotten we owned, as many of them have been in storage for the last 4 years! Yes I know we have way too many books and there are more in the study.

We have been fortunate to move to such a beautiful area, one which I am certainly going to make use of as I enjoy walking and photography… it’s been a bit hazy the last couple of days but still the views are beautiful.

Sunday was a wonderful day, family and friends came over and the Huddersfield circuit warmly welcomed me and one of my new colleagues as their new probationer ministers.

welcome

The church was packed, I don’t know where the chairs all came from but they kept being brought in as more and more people arrived. It was a wonderful occasion, one filled with love, cake and cups of tea!

We couldn’t have asked for a warmer welcome.

Thank you to the Huddersfield circuit and to the people from my churches at Holmfirth, Scholes and Hade Edge.

Charlotte, Cagney and I already feel settled.
