I feel like I’m so so close… just one last hurdle to go…
Time seems to be dragging, we have our date for moving to the new house… Only 4 weeks to go. Unlike the Anglican’s who I have trained with the last two years, they have moved and started their curacy’s…
I’m not sure who got the better deal? While we have the chance for a break in between starting our circuit appointments, and preparing for the move at a more relaxed pace the Anglicans are there doing what we have been training for the last two years.
As we have a puppy now to look after I thought ‘yes the time will fly’… that’s ok so long as Cagney is awake!!!
Now all we want to do is move, get the house in order and settle in to the new area. Go exploring and meet new people before I officially start as a probationary minister in the Methodist Church.
I’m normally a very patient person, but this is dragging even for me, which is partly to do with wanting to get started, wanting to get stuck into the ministry ahead of me. I’ve got my clobber, some things are still being finished…
I’ve done my academic training, (I even got a degree out of it) now I just want to get stuck into real hard graft and learning what circuit ministry is really like.
Patience…. I need patience…..!
Awww prayers for you… 🙂 Xxxx I suppose the biggest tests can come in the waiting? X
